Governor Walz is hard to find during the Governor’s Fishing Opener
In reaction to getting booed at last year’s fishing opener, Governor Walz has left bars, restaurants, resorters and bait shops on the hook as he shies away from the public and forgoes millions in revenue to Minnesota’s lake communities. Keeping accountability and the media at bay, Governor Walz baited and switched the public on the 2022 fishing opener.
